New corrosion protection from Parker

ToughShield™ Plus is the new, patent-pending standard zinc-nickel coating for all Parker steel pipe fittings and adapters worldwide. It offers a significant improvement in corrosion resistance over other available coating technologies. This means end users benefit from less frequent and easier maintenance, extended fitting life and increased resistance to rust spreading to adjacent components. For manufacturers, this means a reduction in warranty claims and aesthetic quality issues due to corrosion.

ToughShield Plus is the fluid power industry’s first commercially available standard coating system to provide up to 3,000 hours of red corrosion resistance per ASTM B117 in neutral salt spray testing.
