Actuators

Actuators are drive elements that convert electronic signals into mechanical movement, temperature, pressure or other physical quantities. In this way, they intervene in the control system and set target values. The signals to be converted can be, for example, commands that come from a control computer. The conversion process itself is called actuation.

ATEX components

ATEX components must meet the requirements of the EU ATEX directive (ATmosphère EXplosive), i.e. be designed to be explosion-proof. Since 1995, this has also affected non-electrical components of machines and systems. The EU ATEX directive includes two directives that serve explosion protection, a product directive (94/9/EC) and an operating directive (1999/92/EC). These oblige the European member states to implement the ATEX standards into national law.

Parker Carstick and Carstick+

Carstick® is an integrated cartridge that connects the housing and hose. Carstick+ can be used in a variety of housing materials, including non-elastic polymers, and can be removed without damaging the cavity.

Festo

With 20,000 employees, Festo is a global leader in automation technology and a well-known manufacturer of pneumatic components for industrial applications. As an Official Festo Partner, we support you in the selection and maintenance of all Festo products and solutions.

Air treatment systems

Air processing systems (LAA) are available as air cooling or air heating systems as well as combined cooling and heating systems. This ensures that the supply and exhaust air is of extremely high quality and that the purity, quantity and temperature of the supply air always remains constant. Depending on the user’s specific needs and the individual area of application, for example, a fan as well as a heating/cooling system, special fine or pre-filters, a bypass system and the necessary compensators are calculated and combined accordingly.

Parker Pneumatics: Overview

Parker’s pneumatic system components offer ideal solutions for a wide range of applications, such as the process industry, water treatment plants, shipbuilding and steam generation. The products, designed to be extremely user-friendly, are ideal for use in food processing (wine/olive processing and storage) in aggressive environments or with corrosive media and were specifically designed for this purpose.

The modular concept expands the applicability of a range of electrical components including electrical components for hazardous environments, low voltage components as well as IP67, Class H and UL/VDE approved components.

Advice on the selection of pneumatic components, if necessary conversion to current components from other providers
The fastest possible procurement and delivery through our close partnership with international suppliers
Creation of pneumatic plans according to customer specifications; Provision of CAD data if required
Planning and manufacturing of pneumatic circuits according to customer specifications; e.g. installation on a mounting plate in a control cabinet
Completing working cylinders with additional components according to specifications (e.g. throttles, check valves, fastening elements, etc.)
Delivery of all components on time to the desired delivery address.

Vakuum
Valves

Valves are components that are used to regulate and shut off various media such as gases and various liquids. Within the valves, a closure component such as a ball or a cone is moved almost parallel to the respective flow direction of the medium. The flow of media is interrupted or reduced by pressing the entire circumference of the closure component onto a suitably shaped opening.

Two-hand control

A two-hand control must be used to keep the machine operator’s hands out of the danger zone of the machine. If you also want to ensure that other people do not get into the danger area while the machine is operating, other accident protection measures such as a light barrier must also be taken.
